Antibiotika – Antiinfektiva

Der 2014 erstmals erschienene Antiinfektiva-Leitfaden des Universitätsklinikums Leipzig (UKL) wurde Ende 2016 in der zweiten Auflage als App herausgegeben, Ende 2018 folgte die dritte und Ende 2020 die vollständig überarbeitete und aktualisierte vierte Auflage.
Die Mitglieder der Antiinfektiva-Kommission des UKL haben in übersichtlicher Weise diagnostische Hinweise und Empfehlungen für die Therapie und Prophylaxe mit Antibiotika bzw.
Antiinfektiva zusammengestellt, ergänzt um Informationen zu wichtigen Hygienestandards.
Der Geltungsbereich umfasst erwachsene Patienten, aber über Sonderkapitel auch Kinder und Jugendliche.
Über die Anwendung von Antiinfektiva hinaus gibt es klare Empfehlungen zum Vorgehen bei Patienten mit unklarem Fieber sowie Informationen zu den einzelnen Arzneimitteln (Anwendung in der Schwangerschaft, Dosisanpassung bei Niereninsuffizienz etc.).Prof.
Dr.
Christoph Lübbert, der den Leitfaden federführend erstellt hat, sieht einen entscheidenden Vorteil gegenüber allgemeinen Richtlinien: „Wir erkennen genau, mit welchen Problemlagen und Anforderungen wir in unserem Alltag konfrontiert sind, und können mit dem Leitfaden bzw.
unserer App extrem schnell darauf reagieren.
Bereits innerhalb weniger Monate werden neue Informationen eingearbeitet und damit den am Patienten tätigen Kollegen zur Verfügung gestellt.“Trotz des genauen Zuschnitts auf die Bedürfnisse stationärer Patienten des Uniklinikums Leipzig ist eine Anwendung auch anderswo möglich, sollte dann aber eine Adaptation an die jeweils lokal vorherrschende Erreger- und Resistenzsituation beinhalten.
Bei konsequenter Anwendung können die gegebenen Empfehlungen wesentlich dazu beitragen, den Einsatz von Antibiotika bzw.
